The Emerge project set out to support the creation of a sustainable community of practice around user engagement for the exploitation of new and emerging technologies, such as social software and pervasive computing in educational settings. This publication documents the processes involved in developing and sustaining a community, mapping the changes and progress as well as describing the technical side of the project.
